Looking for a gasket kit with the rear main seal, oil pan, and all other seals for lower end. Any suggestions? Also, How hard of a job is this? Can it be done by removing the t-case and trans without taking out the engine?

Thanks

I don't believe there's a lower end kit. You'll have to get what you need separately.
If your plan is to replace the rear main you'll have to disassemble the Transfer Case to get the 4 speed off so you'll be looking at a rebuild kit for the T-Case as well. What's your location in Georgia.

On an FJ60 the 4 speed and the transfercase can be separated from the engine as one unit. Disconnect any wires, take off the drive shafts, shifters, and shift boots. Then undo the 4 bolts holding the transmission to the bell housing. Separate the two and then prepare for a lot of weight to fall to the ground. Hopefully on a transmission jack :D

Do'h!(Hand to Face) you are correct, pardon my brain fart.

The only kit I have ever seen with both those is a full engine gasket kit. Your best bet will be to purchase them separately. No need to remove the engine but you will need to remove the tranny. Since you are pulling the oil pan make your life really easy and pull the rear end cap to install the rear main seal. So much easier than trying to drive in that huge seal and messing it up.

I'm in Cumming, Ga.
I went to Autozone and they found me a kit that has the oil pan rear main and other seals...

I'm in great need of the same. Sick of it dripping oil and coating the underside of the front half of the cruiser.

How similar is the process for the fj62s?

Well I already paid for the kit and it is supposed to come in today. In preparation I went ahead and drained the oil. But the strangest thing happened. I pushed it back out of the garage after replacing the oil drain plug in the oil pan (completely empty) and then was looking at it a few hours later. It is still leaking a good bit of oil!?! I can't tell where it is coming from though.
