So I’m in the process of removing the old sound deadener and installing new stuff. Upon removing my rear heater core I noticed that the tube seal is a little mangled. I’ve talked to C-Dan and he says the part is not a serviceable part and probably part of the heater core assembly. Has anyone else come across this and if you have, what was your solution to replace the seal? Thanks for your time.

Are the heater pipes going back in?

Well that makes it a little more tricky 😊. I had a similar problem with missing pipe insulation on the air con pipes running to the condenser. I got some fibreglass wool insulation from the orange store and then packed it around the pipes and held it all in place with high temp tape that i had lying around. Not that pretty but you can't see it and i am sure it is perfectly functional.
