I am having problems with the rear heat on my '97 cruiser. I have a leak from the hose on the passenger side under the running board. Can I cut the hose at the "t" connector and plug the hose as a temporary fix? Thanks for any and all help.

I have a quick trip and don't want to be left stranded. The car isn't overheating. I need to be vigilant with my coolant levels.

If you got 2 hours you can probably can do rear heater bypass. Pretty easy job, but you need to have skinny hands...
