I have a leak on the rear hatch window. When I open it water pours out of the left bottom corner. The carpet is soaked.
I have sealed the 1/4 moldings and vents behind the side sliders. No more leaks there.
I have also removed the wind deflector and duct taped over the holes to block the rain.
How do I fix the rear window?
Thanks.

It might be coming in the top hatch gasket. See if it seals tightly.

It looks like it does seal. There is no water on the inside of where the seal hits the door. It looks like its collecting on the inside of the window seal.

Bump..

I had the same problem after painting my 80 series this summer. It ended up being the wire loom containing the lift gate wires. It had gotten old and cracked. It did not seal well when I reinstalled everything. You can take black silicone and seal around the area where it attaches to the body and the lift gate. Also check to make sure that the tubing itself is not cracked. If it is you can use the same silicone to patch it. Been good for six months now.

Check the rubber track/ metal window frame that the window slides in. My rear windows were leaking, rusting the jack and getting the carpet wet too. The window tracks were full of crud, and the base of the window would fill up and leak inside. Cleaned the track out, no more leaks
