I have a simple Q? I have just installed a toyota e-locker into my 89 pickup rear axle , I now want to gear down to 5:29s. which gear set do I need v6 or 4cyl?

depends on the third. is it out of a v6 or a 4cyl?

if your third looks like this you need to buy gears for a 4cyl

This says the e-locker diffs are based on the V6, so you need V6 gears...

v6 gears

The e-locker third member is based off of the v6 style 8" 3rd member. If you intend to replace the bearings, they do require a different bearing kit. We stock all these parts and can help you out if you have any questions.
