I plan on just removing one side of the 3rd row and would like to build a drawer system. I’m am hobbiest woodworker so I have all the tools (go Palomar College woodworking!!), I was just wondering if anyone has any plans for sale so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Also, any advice or suggestions on hardware, features, lessons learned, along with any tips or tricks are welcome.

Thanks!

Note: I’ve seen the forums with the DIY drawers but nothing with plans. I’m completely down to pay because I know how much work goes into design
I built a single drawer. Let me see if I can find my "plans" (which were mostly drawings on some graph paper). If not I can walk you through what you need.

Edit: Materials list is at Truckasaurus - linuxgod's Build Thread - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/truckasaurus-linuxgods-build-thread.1251070/#post-13823875

That said I'd honestly recommend buying a Land Shark single drawer kit. There's very little savings in DIY, and it will take a lot longer. The only real advantage IMO is that you can further customize the design a bit (like my drawer is 36" deep even though the cabinet is 42" deep, but the rearmost space has a separate compartment only accessible from the 2nd row).

Oh. A recommendation on the material or the material thickness.
I built the side walls and the bottom of the box with 12mm and the top plates and dividers with 9mm. I was worried at first that it might be too thin but screwed together everything is very very strong. The material sealed plywood (if that is the right term in English...) is very stable and has especially a very high resistance to water which justifies the extra cost compared to normal wood in my opinion.

I paid around 600€ for all the boards (32 at all) and the cutting (seriously. It is best to have the panels cut to size. Self you never get that so accurate and straight). Thats worth it.

The whole thing then screwed about every 100mm (do not forget to pre-drill) and the box makes any stress with.

Ps.: or is it called film faced plywood?

Wow that looks legit. Did you do anything to mount it to the floor? It’s something I was wondering if anyone did
It is attached via M8 bolts through the threaded holes formerly used by the tie down rings. That’s all there was in the HE. I think there are more threaded holes in other versions = more secure.
