My rear passenger door suddenly will not stay closed. The actuator for the lock works fine, but the door latch is not catching.

Any advice on weather is the repair or replace?

I am going to tear the door apart today.

BWT, a hold down strap across the back seat is a good temp fix but not great long term

Do you have kids who could have messed with the latch? I have had issues with my kids manually closing the latch while door open.

Yes, I got it out. Looks busted. I am trying to find a replacement
