Rear door handle issue? (1 Viewer)

My rear door handle can open the door wether it is locked or unlocked. Any thoughts, I pulled he door panel last night and disengaged the handle but did not have time to explore it.

is the lock tab loose or bent or has its linkage fallen off?

So I got a few minutes to mess with it and noticed that there was a very slight amount of corrosion on the door latch assembly. I took a chance and soaked it with some WD 40 and voila, problem cured.
