Hello All,

As my FJ62 is under the knife and being painted, I was disassembling the rear doors over the weekend and I got to thinking about the glass divider on the rear doors.

It looks like they originally matched the color of the truck, but its so faded, that its a little hard to tell.

Should I be painting these to match the body? Do some people paint these black?

Originally metallic charcoal like the rear quarter vents, headlight doors, and instrument bezel.

I have leftover spray paint from when I prepped and primed the rear quarter vents. Not to hard to reuse.

Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome feedback everyone. I think with some deep cleaning, some primer and then the spray paint on top it will start to look good as new.

This paint is also a good readily available option. Dual purpose as it matches the OEM grille paint surrounding the chrome areas.
