Rear disk brake upgrade (1 Viewer)

Rear brake upgrade under consideration. Running smaller rear disk brakes. Considering upgrading to larger ones. What's required?

Bigger rotors, different backing plates, but what else. Are calipers between the two the same or different? What about the handbrake parts or are they all the same?

What are your fronts like? have you upgraded them first? it's something like 70% or more of the braking is handled by the front.

I wouldn't bother with the rears. Just refresh them with standard size.

Vast majority is the braking is done by the front brakes. Spend the money on the front brakes.

Front brakes were upgraded 7 yrs ago and I just recently did a full rebuild with mostly new (genuine) parts. I've got a pair of genuine rear rotors but they're the bigger size so incorrect for my existing rear setup. Just thought of making it into an upgrade project.
