I have read many posts here and the general concensis is to use gm parts. In Australia and expecialy remote Western Australia used toyota parts are cheap if no free and easy to find. A large part of the reason that i own a landcruiser.

So far here on ih8mud i havent seen any compleated setup using oem parts, just talk about it.

I have fully floating 1983 hj47 with tc e brake.

So far i have found this article. Got his brackets fabricated.

Also found this kit i assume uses toyota parts. Anyone had expirience with it? They are made by biders 4wd Australia.

Had an attempt to do it myself once. My farbication skills were not that good but had proof of concept.

Finaly my question is. Has anyone done this and can provide any information and idealy a template for the backing plate ore bracket.

check with Kevin, @Awl_TEQ here on mud. he was going to use the caliper mount from a front knuckle and use it on the rear of his full float.
not sure what happened.

Posting a few photis in case links brake one day. First is biders 4wd kit and second is pirate4x4 thread with custom brackets.

you probably want to check which brake backing plate bolt pattern is on your full floater before you commit to any brackets or templates there are 8 and 4 bolt backing plates yours is probably a 8 bolt if the parking brake is on the back of the TC

Heard of a few people here in NZ using MR2 rear calipers as they are reasonably good, and have the built in cable handbrake on the caliper. Find rotors with the right stud pattern and roughly the right offset and make (get someone with the right tools to make) the mounting brackets.
