It’s aftermarket. Trace it and see where it goes

almost guarantee that's a VSC delete switch -

What year is your truck?

I had a nearly identical switch in that spot for my added-on aux fan. If yours is a 2003+, it could be a switch for that.

Then again I could be wrong.. only way is to trace the wires

'99 doesn't have VSC. ;)

But agreed, it's not OEM. Trace the wires.

I’ll be tracing the wires today. it would be awesome is by some miracle the switch was rear differential lock lol.

Guaranteed not a diff lock.

Whoever installed it put it in upside-down. "ON" is always up or to the right.

could be a DRL switch to turn off / on the daytime running lights....i did one on mine

U.S. Market LX470's never had a Rear Diff Locker. In years '98-'99 they ALL had a Limited Slip Diff (standard equipment).

The same year models Land Cruisers had an OPTION for rear diff locker.

Then in 2000 ALL U.S. Market 100 series went to ATRAC.

'Canadian Market' LX470's were available with a rear locker.
