This is one example of how OCD maintenance is not really required with the beasts by Toyoda.

Decided to change underneath fluids in my 2000 LX with 381k. I have no idea when this diff fluid was actually changed last but looks like the new fluid I put in.

The transfer case gear oil goes dark first, then the front diff before the rear, the system capacity might be the primary reason how the rear diff stays clear at least for 30-40k.

@2001LC’s staggered gear fluid change interval makes a lot of sense, I recall he recommends approximately 30-40-50 or 20-30-40 (I might have made a mistake on the numbers).
