That pic is sweet. The other pics I'd seen made it look bigger, or at least in my head it seemed bigger. I like that one a lot. I'm scared to ask for a price.

Well,

You get what you pay for. 1800 bucks is pretty tall dollars for the 80 series bumper/carrier. BUT, what a beautiful piece of artwork it is. I do not regret purchasing mine AT ALL. If the 100 version comes in under 2 grand, consider it a bargain.....Up to 2500 would be easy to imagine for me. It sounds like a pile of cash and it is. Remember that an '04 Cruiser is 62 grand. That sort of evens the playing field.......

Very NICE Christo, like all your stuff.

Much as I'd like to make the 100 a rock crawler, it has to wait, and actually may never happen, since it looks like this model may be the last hurrah for the LC wagon in the States. In that case the truck will remain (fairly) stock. But, while I have a Kaymar on the 80 (which has survived multiple trips through the Rubicon with no adverse affects), I can testify to the effectiveness and quality of Christo's bumpers. My truck was originally built for expeditions, and for that purpose the Kaymar made more sense, but if I were doing purely technical rock crawling, I would go with Christo's, or possibly a custom job with bobbed frame rails. But then again, I probably wouldn't use a 100 for that purpose! That's what 40s are for!

My $.02,

Christo, any ideas as to how long from now they'll be in stock? My mom just backed my dad's LX into a pole, and the repair prices are making it easy for me to talk him into an aftermarket bumper.

Just in case he doesn't want to go that route, do you still have the OEM rear bumper cover? His LX is the same pearl white as yours.

Here is was on Breck mountain a few short months ago:
