Contacted Norwalk Toyota, appears stock rear brake pads 04466-60110 are discontinued? Is there maybe a Toyota replacement?

Thanks

@AlaskanWheeler did you install 04466-60070 on your Cruiser? What year is yours? I got 07 LC and 04466-60110 show as replacement part and discontinued. Web site shows 04466-60070 as not compatible, but... when I called dealership and gave them a VIN # - they recommended 04466-60070.

On the same topic - is there a part number for a kit which comes with shims/etc.? Or separate part number for shims kit? For rear pads replacement on 07 LC. Thank you!

I believe shims come in the fitment kit (part no. 04948-60010), but I recommend verifying separately.

All model year 100s have the same calipers and thus the same brake pads... it’s 04466-60070

Thank you, @JunkCrzr89 ! Will this kit fit as well:
04946-60031 Shim Kit Anti Squea
Yes, that’s the correct shim kit. You may also need the fitting kit, too (04948-60010). I don’t remember if I bought both or just the shim kit, but I think I bought both.

For some reason both 60040 and 60070 seem to cover all years and models in my catalogue, using my fzj105 vin it shows to use 60040.

0446660040 has superseded to 04466yzzam
0446660070 has superseded to 04466yzzaa

60040 is specific to 105s and not applicable to 100s. No idea what the difference is, but 60070 is the only part number for NA-spec 100s in all of the catalogs that I have access to.

A very good equivalent to OEM, (that is also OEM supplier)- Akebono Ceramic
