Can anybody tell me if a 1971-78 rear axle brake hard line junction looks exactly like this? Also, does the 71-78 use fine thread 10 MM hard line fittings or the funky 9MM coarse thread. Anybody local have one laying around that they'd like to get rid of?

It should be the fine thread 10MM. The one in your pic looks about right except that someone has changed our the breather vent.

I don't think it is different, just that someone has used another outlet for the rubber drop line. The rubber hose is usually in the "stalk" portion of the "T".
That would have made for mucho easier bending.

IOW, the nekked hole should be feeding the short-side brake and the right side(in the pic) should be where the flex hose attaches. IMO

Thanks for the pics Hawkdriver. Long story short on what I'm trying to do is that the Napa 38009 longer flexible brake line listed in the "Tech Trivia" section here on Mud will only work for 8/70-84 Cruisers. I apparently must have kept my 67 junction block with the coarse 11mm threads when I swapped to 79 axles.
