I was checking my rear brake pads / adjusting my parking brakes and my brake drum slides an 1/8 " back and forth from the lug bolts, and in and out a little. Seems wrong. The other side doesn't, heightening my concern! (I may just have pre-trip jitters. ) I think most times I have the wheel off, the parking brake is on, so I wouldn't have any movement. So maybe this is normal???

Seems normal to me. The rear brakes kinda sorta float on the rear axle from what I was told. Maybe another click or 2 on the adjuster. You'll be fine though. Safe travels

Thanks!

Mine does this dunno if this means it's right though

The lug nuts once on wheel hold drum on tight.
To adjust e-brake. Tighten adjuster until drum will not move. Than back off 8 clicks.
