Wanted to say thanks guy. This thread made install much easier. Things like cutting off the spare tire support before hand since it was not in the actual instructions made things much simpler.

Ordered a 7 way plug with very long wires I hope to wire straight to the each light or do I have to use a taillight converter?

I have an ARB bumper on my 200. The PO had the swing outs on it originally but decided he didn't like them and had the covers installed. I have the swing out and supposedly all the hardware to reinstall. What am I looking at to accomplish this? Can I do this with the bumper on? Before I start pulling parts off I was hoping to get a general idea of what I'm up against.

On my rear ARB the holes for the parking-sensors i had to cut out, so you may have to cut those out in the swing outs. The swing outs go on last so you can leave the bumper on. Just remove the reflectors and then put them back on when you are done.

Thanks, that's good news. Unfortunately the previous owner deleted both the front and rear parking sensors.

I have not seen a grease nipple on mine, so it looks like you need to remove the reflector, then remove the main bolt, grease the main bolt and put it back together. I used waterproof green grease on mine and it's still good.

Well I need a rebuild ASAP. Also I need bearing part number desperately. I found number for the seal. But can’t find crap on the bearing.

My friend is a mechanic and when I need a bearing I do not know what it is he just measures it and ordered one from a place like napa or some auto shop. I have had to do this with some military trailers. The one on the other side is likely in fair enough shap to measure it. or you can measure the bolt and the race.

You can also call arb usa tech support and they will likely send you the parts for free, but ask it when you will get it. Sometimes it is right away and some times it's months.

I really like the green water proof grease, as it doesn't wash away as easy.

Thanks, I'm hoping I can go to napa and match it up somehow!

Bearings and races usually have a part number on them. It may be obscured by the old grease and grunge. I'd clean it up with parts cleaner, brakleen, whatever solvent you have handy

There is nothing I’ve used my magnifying glass. They must me worn off

The bearings are available via ARB fwiw. We stock the bearing/seals as spares for the bumpers we sell.

I’m going to try a Napa tomorrow hopefully they can help. This was supposed to be a quick project. But that went out the window real quick. 😂

Has anyone had to replace their swing out arm struts? If so, where'd you get them? Mine take forever to open so I think it's time to replace them.

ARB offers them in their distribution network

Does that mean you guys carry them? Or do I have to go directly to ARB USA?
Call your local ARB dealer and give them ARB 4590001 you'll need two. Or maybe google

We stock them as spares for the bumpers we sell/install. I don't know that we have them in our retail parts system.
