So, long journey short, when I bought my truck the po had capped the rear Ac. I found where it had been capped and thought I knew why it had been capped (rust). Service history showed the car had rear Ac lines previously replaced at the dealership earlier in its life Yada Yada. Anyways, as it was capped, I figured the other components were still good. Fast forward four years, an new three week old baby and an active 4 year old in hand, I prioritized getting the rear Ac working. All the lines have been replaced (at the ire of my mechanic, he was particularly stoked about doing the job without touching the welded on rock sliders) but he indicated that the #2 and #3 parts below need replacing

questions/comments
2 is the evap core for the rear. ReLatively cheap just waiting for the denso to be back in stock
3 is the rear expansion valve. Rock auto sells this part as just the valve and Not with the housing/harness. I want the entire part but don’t really want to spend $200 for the whole assembly. Any ideas?

thanks in advance for your help
