Real time spring question

Well the brother took the rear leafs off of his 60 to do the springover and cant remember if which way is front or rear. Apparently the is about a 3in difference. Someone please clear this up.

The short side of the leaf spring goes toward the fixed eye.
Long side goes toward the shackle.
