I am removing an OEM PS box. Pitman arm off, lines disconnected, nuts/bolts removed from the base, screws completely removed from the steering column collars.
How do I get the box out? Studs still in the steering column seem to keep the box from moving up the studs at the base far enough to clear the studs at the base. Seems to be another nut/clamp on the shaft coming out of the steering box does that have to be removed? (everything is covered with goo, tough to tell what the bolt on the shaft does)
Everything seems to be unbolted, just doesn't seem to be enough clearance to move up the studs at the base, as long as studs are in the steering column.
