Hey guys,

Need help on taking off a wheel lock. I ruined one key already and had to go to the dealer to get another. In short I tried what I know. P'Blaster, heat, and a little pounding. Last thing I want to do is take her to the stealer and have them do it. So I need help anyone can give me.

THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Drill it and use an extractor
Good luck, those things are a PITA

I've used a socket slightly larger than the "nut" and hammered it on once.

Use at your own risk :D

I had a wheel lock that wouldn't come off. I tried a larger socket...but what worked in the end is an impact wrench and the key. You can then exert all your force keeping the key on the lug while the impact wrench does the rest.

Disregard, I went to a tire shop right after I posted on here and they took it off real fast. All it cost me was $7. Now I can get to working on the rear brakes.

Thanks for the quick responses guys.

Dont even bother putting new locks on. Just get some regular lugs. I was able to pound mine off with 3/4" sockets, a 1/2 " cheater bar, and a piece of pipe for leverage.

Mine broke on the side of the road about 15 miles from home, and caused me to have my first LX camping adventure.
