Real Time Help- Phoenix. Broken Down 80 series needing brake parts (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

My brother and I are road tripping to LA and had a brake failure just outside Phoenix in his 1993 80 series.

We called some dealers and Napa in the area but won’t get parts until Tuesday/Wednesday.

Does anyone in the area have the following for the front driver side?
- caliper
- soft brake line
- 2 caliper bolts
- dust shield
- rotor

We are having AAA tow us to Camelback in the next hour or two. Currently on 17 veterans highway southbound about 60 miles north of Phoenix.

Update.

We found everything except caliper bolts at the autozone off of W McDowell St and are getting towed there soon

IIRC, you can borrow the bolt from rear bumper area and use it as caliper bolt.

Thanks! I’ve been doing some extensive side of the road mud searching and found that the front tow hook bolts are the same so we should be on the road again this evening after getting towed to autozone.

Well. Having issues getting the new soft line seated on the hardline nut. Threads are a bit buggered.

Stuck for now unless we can find a solution or someone is passing through and can lend a hand!
