Howdy!
The saga of the radiator cracking as my wife has the vehicle in the mountains has been discussed in the other thread.

I need help right away as the dealer says he can get parts to me tomorrow if I order within 30 minutes!

We (the dealer and I) are stuck on the flexible transmission cooler lines that go into the radiator... are there two or four lines?? Which part numbers are these? Diagram st dealer shows 32942 and 34941 but there is also a 34942A and a 34941A do I need all four?
Thanks in advance for your help- if I can get it all on order they'll have it tomorrow and I can repair it Sunday!

I know nothing about a 200 series, but most dealers will take back any parts you don't need. Order them all and be safe.

I believe there are only two hoses that directly interface with the ATF oil cooler. However, there are other rubber hoses that bridge various lengths of hard lines that run the distance from the transmission to the oil cooler.... or I could be completely confused. :)

Let the dealer sort it out. I would have him order all the parts he might possibly need and then let them deal with unused parts. How much confidence do you have in this shop/dealer if they aren't sure what parts they need?

Well that makes sense!
I just tried it and now the dealer says those parts will take a week anyway....ugh.

Zippo....they only sell 2 LC's a year...I'm usually telling them what they need. But they are only a few miles from my house!!

I'm seriously spoiled with my dealer. If they don't have a part in stock I can usually get it next day or at most 2. They apparently have a delivery truck that drives in every night from some Toyota distribution center in Cali to do part runs.

Same at my dealer. Ordered my radiator in the afternoon...and at 7:30am next morning I got a text from my service guy saying it had just arrived. They had it done a bit later. So from ordering the radiator...to picking up my 200...less than 24 hours.

I had this issue on a road trip a decade ago. Some JB Weld did the job for the 500 miles it took to get home.

My dealer also gets most parts overnight from a Florida warehouse- I got the radiator and upper and lower hoses today. But apparently those transmission hoses aren't in the distribution center either....odd

Why are you replacing the trans cooler hoses?

I guess I'm likely not. I just thought it'd be good PM while I'm in there! :)

I just happened to swap radiators on my HDJ81 a few weeks ago and I did those hoses as well...granted they were likely 25 years old!
