Went to start my truck (81 2H engine) and it cranked right up like normal then immediately quit. I tried it again, and same thing.
I drained the water separator because the light was on, but it always comes on when I first start it up, so I doubt that had anything to do with it.
What else should I check?
I was driving it all day with no problems. Now this...

Could it be a low oil pressure turn off. My 44 does it the first time I start it after an oil change. Could also be our EDIC acting up???:cheers:

This happened to me when I first got my BJ42, but then I got good advice from Canuck MUDders: Fill up your new filter with fresh oil and your engine will thank you.

ok, so pull the fuse box out and check all the connections for the engine fuse, or all for that matter.

The edic might not have been getting power.
