I purchased a mini truck long bed extra cab cover from Ebay....works good.... a little shorter than I would like

In2cruisers, you say you have a truck cover for your 45, what year truck and make did you use for the purchase. I thinking a Tacoma may work ??
Any pictures of the one you have installed ?
Thanks

Yes i think it was for a Tacoma ex-cab long bed....it's just short...about 4" above running boards

I'll snap ya a pic

It's not a form fitting cover but here is what I have used in the past. This was in a milder climit that had lower UV than the Phoenix sun. Would get a few years out of these tarps. Because of snow I used a piece of plywood from the headache rack to the tailgate with a couple of 2"X4"s as stiffeners. Then installed the old camper shell until I got a garage at the location. This is something to think about with a pickup bed. Anything that is weather tight will hold water in the bed unless you can figure a way to shed it off the bed. Park on a angle with the tailgate open? This currently is a weekend home so the cover was not removed daily. A couple of bungee cords only took a minute to put on and take off. These are weatherproof. I bought a high dollar fitted cover from SOR for my FJ62 but needed to remove in the rain. Harbor Freight now sells a larger camo tarp. http://www.harborfreight.com/29-ft-4-inch-x-19-ft-camouflage-tarp-67702.html I used camo because of a HOA which never gave me grief ove all my vehicles.

Sorry for the delay, now back in town.
Living in the Past, good info we have a HF store close so that may be worth the trip, and man I know about the HOA special agents that are always watching.
In2cruisers, funny I have a Toyota Tacoma x cab so this may be a good way to go, use on both as needed. You said a little short from the step up? Picture would be grate.
Thanks guys for the info.

The Harbor Freight tarps worked great in N. AZ. In the Phoenix area the heat and UV destroyed pretty quick. These were a good cheap option when your trying to cover a bunch of vehicles.

Funny I never had a issue with my HOA over these vehicles. I was just worried because at the time I had no other option for storing my vehicles. I had a non HOA home in a old neighborhood in Phoenix. A block away people were restoring a vehicle in their driveway. I would a vehicle next to my garage that wasn't registered and I received a letter from the city. Shortly before moving I figured out who was complaining. I moved a house with 1,200 sqft of garage and tons of RV parking. He still lives in the neighborhood which continues to go down hill. Including my old home which I use to keep up.
