Hi all!

Some of you may know me from way back when on the ‘blue forums’ - I ran an FJ Cruiser for 10 years or so and started the FJ Summit in Ouray (which I suppose in turn started your single axle summit that I’d love to participate in!).

Happy to be getting back into the Cruiser world a bit with an ‘86 FJ60 being delivered to me this week! I’ve wanted one of these since I was….oh, 5 years old or so….happy to be fulfilling that dream.

pics of the truck from the dealer - will post more once it arrives!

yes. Especially in regards to the transmission mounting. On your cruiser it's easy to swap in a 5 speed transmission if you decide to do that some day, where the earlier models require a lot more work and fabrication to do the same.

welcome Back!! great lookin rig!!!! Go Bruins!!!!!

Thanks all! The truck arrived yesterday - what an exciting day. I’m thrilled with it. 128k miles and a California truck with zero rust. Those LED lights need to go, I know :)

Anyone have a headlight washer bottle for sale? Mine is cracked.
Hmmm...believe I have one over there on the shelf with the hens teeth. :D There was a guy who posted on here a little while ago looking for washer bottles that were old and broken and planning to make some molds and do a production run of new ones. You might do some searching and see if you can find it and send him a note of interest.

also just a heads up that your truck was resprayed ....keep an eye on it as there could be rust that's hiding under that nice paint.

Thank you!

yeah it’s originally a Copper Metallic paint truck - almost prevented me from buying it, but the underside (which wasn’t resprayed) looks amazing. The truck spent most of its life in California, then a bit in Nashville. Not the best picture, but here’s what she looks like underneath. I need to find some of the chrome lower strips which are missing

Nice 60! Treat that rust on the a pillar soon. It’s always more than you see on the surface.

Well, this truck is awesome! Is the rear suspension a bit saggy or is this just factory height? I think OME is in my future
