Before burning me. Understand I was in the middle of a move to Florida needed the truck drivable ASAP, grandma came to visit ended up dying of a heart attack at the same time during the move and truck; so I am aware we f’d up not centering it first before installing.

Now that we are here in Florida, and had time to breath we realized our mistake when installing. Took it to a shop here and they want to pull the rack out, center and reinstall $$$ $ (in process of looking for a new home so not feasible) I’d like to know as my gut says there is a way to center the rack without removing it. Anyone experienced a stupid mistake like this and able to remedy without removing rack.

I think my father in his attempt to remedy also tore up the clock spring so I guess (I already sourced a new one) at this point replacing that is cheaper than removing and reinstalling the rack. I fired my dad from the job as well although his intentions were good.
Thanks in advance.
