Well, it's fixed. And, it was the distributor. The "G" pickup tested open and it was bad. The worst part of the whole thing was the new distributor refused to mesh with the driving gear. The old one would go back in no problem. So, after a couple of hours of trying I removed the electronics from the new one and installed it in the old one. Adjusted the air gaps and put it all back together. It started up on the first try no problem . :)
Now I just need to adjust the timing and idle.
 
No error code, I imagine the idle will be back to normal after I adjust the timing. It's only off by about 100 rpm.
