RC rock crawler w/pics

This isn't a cruiser but it's sweet. Lockers in front and rear, a switchable low and high trasfercase, and mickey thompson baja claws. It flexes pretty good and I can drive it straight up the front of the couch. I think I'm going to take it to Attica next time I go to do a little playing around the camp fire.

What is it?

When you get bored with it go get a T or E-maxx. you can get spools for em and an FJ40 body.

This damn thing scored a 925 on a 30 degree ramp I built. Here's a couple of pics.

dude i got the same one!! $25 at walmart its alot of fun, im looking at moding it but i have alot going on right now!

25 at walmart can you get me one. My buddy paid 150 for his first one, which broke then he wrote the company and they sent him another one. He took the original back to Wal mart and got his money back. They sent him one new one (the one I have Pics of and is at my house at the moment) then they sent him an email saying they was sending him another one. I will be getting the one I have here now at a good price but hell he got it free. At 25 let me know where you got it or go get me one and charge me the shipping to 47834.

i think they have two sizes of that crawler and i thought the smaller one was $25.

those are SO COOL. Did you make them yourself?

Seeing all of these real, modifialbe RC's makes me miss my old Team Associated RC10T. I should have never got out of it, I was a team driver for the local shop and had a blast. Expensive hobby though and you can only run a little ove 4 minutes before a battery change/recharge.

I just picked up a used Associated T3 electric on ebay for under 100.00 complete. I've bought two batteries for it and have been pounding the heck out of it (errr, letting my 10 year old daughter drive it, because it was for her..........)

I had a bunch of RC stuff growing up. Worked at two hobby shops as a kid.

I had one of those reallllllly expensive Tamiya Toyota Bruisers. It was an awesome piece of machinery, especially considering when it came out (1982 or so). Dang thing was 450.00 new, plus radio (three channel on ground frequency). I built trailers for hauling my buggy, on road car, truck, and boat.

Yes yes he did. He spends way too much time on them and not on his REAL fj40:princess: :flipoff2:

yea, but now a days, batterys are way better. on my green truck above, i get a 1hr run time out of a 4cell matched pack. helps that the motor is a 57turn :D

okay did a few mods on the RC today, I chopped the skid plates down to make more clearance, then I hacked on the shocks a little.

It now does 1031 on the same ramp.
