Rattling Doors (1 Viewer)

Two doors rattle annoyingly over bumps. Before I take them apart, just curious if the latches can be adjusted or if I likely just need to order new ones

Sometimes it’s the compressed rubber seal that causes the rattle.
Get a small piece of soft foam and close the door on it to create a tight fit.
Then go for a test ride. If the rattle is gone - then it’s the original seals that have compressed.

Try this…Wrap your door latch and door lock rods (stems) with mini bubble wrap and tape where they connect OR may touch the inside skins of the door.

As with most older vehicles, the original nylon connection points and felt anti-rattle pads have long ago lost their effectiveness.
