I think my engine is running smoothly. Maybe it isn't running as smoothly as possible.

I have a rattle in the upper rear corner in the roof (and a slight one periodically above my head, I've read the sunroof rattle threads before with no real answers) in the D pillar.

WTF is up there behind the headliner?:bang:

I assume wiring of some sort:mad:

I really don't want to go in there. Maybe I'll try some tune up procedures instead.

Maybe your idle speed is not quite right due to a dirty throttle body or something.

I've fixed a rattle above my head before by carefully pulling down part of the headliner. If I remember right there was a bundle of wires up there that was loose and hitting the roof. I don't know if that is possible with the later style headliner.

For the rattle in the back, maybe its the speaker wiring if you have the speakers in the headliner back there.

You are brave. Something tells me I could never get it back right.

I'll look at cleaning the throttle body. I can duplicate it by leaving the truck in drive with the parking brake on.

Put it in neutral, it goes away.

I removed the rear speakers, very thin wires, I was thinking a clip or something had let go of the rear defrost bundle, third brake light bundle, or something along those lines.

Or as Doug suggested, I could just pump up the 80s music to my sub a little bit;)

It has been going on for about a year. It is driving me:bang: (most people don't even notice it even if I try to point it out:eek:
