Tried to search the 100 forum and found the thread about removing the armrest and flipping the cover. But it doesn’t really relate to my question.

My drivers seat armrest is stuck in the up position and won’t release. Feels like the mechanism is locked up and won’t move. Anybody ran into this and had to fix it, some common part that breaks? Or am I just being stupid about how to get it to come down? The passenger side one functions fine.

For what it's worth, I pulled the arm rest off to get it right. There's only 1 14mm bolt for it and the inside fit between arm rest and seat is square tube. Installed it rotated really far down, them just brought it up to where it's comfortable. Didn't fix the ratcheting part but at least it's in a good spot now. But don't do like I did and accidentally lift it up more, gotta take it back off and turn it down again to where I want it.
