Random Speedometer failure (1 Viewer)

Hi !!!

The speedometer on my FZJ80 usually drops to zero when I exceed 60 kilometers per hour and then instantly returns to the current speed.
t does this randomly. For example, it will show 80, drop to zero, and then immediately go back to 80.
The same thing happens at other speeds.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?
I have searched through the archives, but haven't had any luck.

Mine has an intermittent fault. I have a busted connector on top of the gearbox I am yet to replace.

Hi !!!

Apparently the problem is solved.
After cleaning Speedo sensor wiring harness, the intermittent fault did not come back.
A simple clean contacts solved it.

Yesterday I circulated about 50 km at speeds above 80 km/h and never fail.
