White on an LX. It just SCREAMS soccer mom.

Dude! back off on the white cruisers!
Christo and I will dump metal filings in your alternator and melt your electrical system. :D
Seem to remember it was a white SAS cruiser that kicked butt in Alaska.
Soccer mom, no, I prefer to call it industrial, yeah that's the ticket.

White is the toughest color with more TitaniumO2 than the others. The better to resist scratches.

It's no girly paint code.

I think the coolest and most manly is Golden Pearl :D :D followed by River Rock Green (sage green) and then both Smokey Topaz Mica (brown) and Cashmere Beige Metallic (gray)

Toyota Reference: Paint Codes, Information and Specs for Toyota, Lexus and Scion

Wouldn't Rhino (or LineX or..) be the most manly 'color'?

So basically, my truck's double manly....:bounce:

AGREED! Much more scratch resistant than the darker colors and therefore.... yep, manly!

But is the white one really a manly LX now? :flamingo:

I was referring to HIS white LX, not necessarily the color white! Loud's whitey is still in powder-puff shape last he posted (not that I have room to talk!).

Tech: 100 series parking

FYI, 100's fit in "compact" parking spots with room to spare!!

I used to say I hated the 03+dash and people said it was just cuz I was biased and if I had one I'd understand. HOLY CRAP I HATE the HVAC controls! I've gotten a good amount of seattime now, and on long trips you really start to notice things that around town don't bother you. I'm thinking of detouring off the grand canyon...I want proper hvac back!!!

O I do like the newer cluster though. Well except that all the warning lights are LED now so I had to put tape over the D light and the others I didn't want to see.

You need one of these...:flipoff2:

I'd pull my Nav system in a heartbeat if I knew for sure that retrofitting the non-Nav cluster would work. All it took was for the Nav system to die once...

Already checked this angle out as I'd like a later model 100 Series sans nav unit. Although technically speaking it appears it can be done it involves replacing the entire behind the dash wiring harness along with the other non-nav facia and control panels. It would be expensive and a boat load of work to accomplish.

I was hoping, since Toyota tends to use one wiring harness for their rigs and then plug in the necessary features for a particular build order, it would be a plug and play mod...but no luck (Thanks to Onur and CDan for looking up product codes, etc. and to LandCruiserPhil for the EWD to get to this determination!).
