Anyone have installed a 12V radio that does not need constant power to retain settings/clock time?

I know they exist and are often used on boats that are used sporadically.
I used an Axis stereo sold in Australia (not Japan Germany or Italy) but its user interface was very bad and it retained settings if it felt like doing so.

looking for recent intel.
Thanks.

I haven't got one myself, but this is what I will likely put it if I ever get tired of reprogramming the radio every time I get in the truck.

Looks good.
The wiring notes shows it has a separate wire for memory.
Also there is no dimming wire that would react to headlights turned on.

Clearly better than redoing settings each time.

I installed one of these. JENSEN-MS2ARTL. Amazon Canada for about 210 bucks.

No wire for memory and works great. Install in my BJ 74 was pretty easy.

I had seen those but I was not sure how well it would work.
Good to know that it works well.

Do they make a 24v version?
