Ha! So I just checked with the dealer to see when they’d be shipping my radiator, and the POC said they were going to cancel the order as UPS has been trashing them in transit. Sounds like a packaging problem to me….wonder if I have any recourse.

I may be in a tight spot as I need it now or not at all (it’s a PM replacement, but we’re leaving on a multi-month trip in several weeks)….
I just had one delivered to my house from RockAuto not damaged or anything g thankfully. I picked up a Denso radiator from them, just checked their site and are still available ($210.00 before shipping) I’d scoop one up if I were you and headed on a nice long trip

I don't know how where/how Rock Auto inventory/warehouse works but i've had Rock Auto orders arrive next day before. One day of travel has a lot ess chances of being damaged vs being trucked through several states/shipping hubs.

I just went through this last month. I bought a Denso off amazong for $260ish and it arrived damaged and dinged up so I returned it. The mounting ears were bent.

I then bought an OEM unit through my local dealer at $420 ish after a TLCA discount and I can say they are NOT the same. I had both in hand and there were some obvious quality differences. The OEM came with preinstalled foam, radiator cap and was packaged marginally better but not great.

I used Toyota red and haven't looked back.
