Hi all! I have a 1988 bj74 w/13bt. Replacing radiator hoses, I have the upper and lower hoses and looking for a local source for the by-pass hose (from the WP to the t-stat housing). I'm in the US. I'm sure ill have to find something close and mod it a bit. Has any one found something that works?

My BJ40 hose (if it is the one I'm thinking of) has a slight pre-formed bend in it which is why I didn't use straight hose.

If yours is the same, I'd take the old hose to a good autoparts shop and get them to match another hose to it to get the same bend.

(I think you should be able to cut another hose to get exactly the bend and dimensions you want ... even if they can't give you an exact replacement off the shelf.)

NAPA sells a product called "Unicoil" it's available in all common hose sizes. It will maintain the hose shape quite well even at a 90 degree angle. Paid about $8 for this one
