I have been using the Racor 215R filter/separator/ heater in my Ford 6.9 diesel since 1987. It has worked very well and is low maintanence. Will it fit on my HZJ 73? Has anyone used them? I found one at a local diesel shop part# 215R2430 it comes with a 24V heater, filter and clear bowl at the bottom.

I have used racor 400 filters (460, 490, 445 - they are all the same head) on 4 rigs now. No problems . I use the R60 filter which is 30 micron 60 gph. I havent used any of the add ons yet (sensor, heater etc) .

I am not 100% sure since it just happened to come with my donor FJ60. From what I can tell it's probably one of these:
    Carter GP60504 - Carter Electric Fuel Pumps - summitracing.com
    Carter GP60430 - Carter Electric Fuel Pumps - summitracing.com

I wired mine to run with key-on and is controlled via a relay and fuses. I don't know if its offered in 24V.
