I need to know what the final drive ratio is on my 71 fj. Is it the same as a 74?

Provided that no one has swapped in different gear sets, both trucks should have a 4.11 ring and pinion ratio, and the top gear in each trans, again provided they have stock three and four speed Toyota transmissions, would be 1:1

three speed, 1st gear = 2.757, transfer case low range = 2.32, diff = 4.11

Final drive ratio = 2.757 x 2.32 x 4.11 = 26.288
