Great video, looks great with the split rims and BF Goodrich KM2's. Got to love the reliability of the big old 2F's.
I look forward to seeing your future videos!![]()

I believe it is a full floater rear axle pretty shore that most Australian model land cruisers had them as they are heavier dutyNice tidy truck mate did it come out with the full floater rear axle or has someone swapped it over we never got them over here until about 1980
nice rig.... however we all know where your subwoofer is now
I had a great kicker speaker box that fit perfectly between the wheel wells... had it stolen about a week after i got it ... about 19 years ago ... since then i had cheapo speakers under my seat LOL
Cruiser looks great!
big 'P' in the front and back a parking pass?
Sweet ride! Got to love the 77's!
Being your rig is a '77, does it have the longer Birfs? If so, do you know if your front locking hubs are the AVM 419's? Hard to find the longer Aisin Hubs these days.
Good question. '77 US spec FJ40's had the longer birfs. I'd venture a guess that the only true way of telling which birfs you had, would be to pull the hub........But I'm not asking for you to do that though.sorry i'm not shore whether it has longer birfs, they are AVM hubs though how can I tell if they are longer?
Sorry there is no model number on the outside though I have a rebuild kit for them can't remember when I got it which says for AVM4444 I don't know if that is of any help?Good question. Does the AVM's have a model number on the outside casing by chance?
haha and it was overcast then to, thankshmmm, so that's what summer looks like, lol ... nice ride ... thanks for sharing ...
The piston rings and cylinders are fairly worn, has a reconditioned head on it. I have another 2F engine I am rebuilding that has been machined, bored ect with a slightly lumpier and had the exhaust ports also ported for be flow, hope to have that in, in the near future. The bullbar is an original lower bumper with a bolt on bit on top which were common here in aus, hope to one day restore it back to original which is why I have put split rims back on it, thanksWow , gonna get in a wreck driving on that side of the road , lol .
Looks like she needs a set of valve guide seals from the smoke , maybe a head refresh as well . Nice shape , color is interesting and different . Love those front bumpers , we have some suicidal Bambi's here and some are nearly the size of a 'roo .
Sarge
Thanks heaps from your profile pic I bet it will be awesome once finishedSounds awesome as it drives down the road, I can not wait till mine is on the road!
