Quick help needed! Won’t start, no electrics at all. Was driving fine an hour earlier. (1 Viewer)

Anyone? What gives? Drove my 94 DD to a friends in the neighborhood and when I went to restart it, nothing. No lights, no signal, it’s completely dead. Tried to jump start it, but nothing happens. It seems I’m missing something simple. Anyone?

80 series? Which motor/year?

I mistyped in my initial post. It’s a 94 80 series.

Y’all are on the money: we hit the terminal with a wire brush and it started to produce a spark but not enough to turn it over. Battery is from 5/19 so I think it’s good. When I checked the wires to the fusible link, they appeared pretty frayed so looks like a tow to my guy in the morning.

I carry a spare set of fusible links in the glove box for just such an emergency.

To follow up, it was a dead battery terminal cable. Luckily I was able to get it started and avoid a tow to the shop. $60 later, she's out on the street again!
