I just put some 4 inch rough country springs in the rear of my '72 and I flipped the springs 180 degrees my question is what did you guys use for shims, to rotate the pinion back up. I bought my springs used so there were no shims to begin with. any help is appriciated

No springs come with castor shims. You may find that you need them but they would need to be purchased separately. The only time I have needed them is when using longer than stock shackles. However a really lifted spring can do the same thing.

ok thank you I was just hoping to here from someone who did it themselves so I could work out a few other issues. I will give that a try

I'm curious why you mounted the springs backwards? If it was to lengthen your wheel base I think there are better options because the springs were not designed to carry your load properly with them mounted backwards.
