Here are some pics of my setup. Added an OE Toyota carb fan, a normally closed relay (SPDT - I believe) wired to the ignition fuse box, and an adjustable thermostat with remote probe from the local Auto Parts store.

I had the same problem with my original F and stock exhaust manifold. You could almost hear the fuel boiling in the carb. I switched to a 6 into 1 header wrapped with fiberglass exhaust tape and haven't had a problem since.
