Question on Pertronix Conversion and Vacuum Advance (1 Viewer)

I have a 78 FJ40 with a 2F. It has a factory distributor with a Pertronix conversion. Do I need to run the vacuum advance?

You may not absolutely "Need" to run the vacuum advance, but you probably should.
I'll probably run fine on just the mechanical advance.

If you have vacuum advance and don't use it, it's like running with one hand tied behind your back.
