I just finished installing new OEM shocks on my 01 LC. The front shocks came "compressed" in the packaging so I had to twist them so they would start expanding.
The rear shocks on the other hand came expanded in the packaging. I think?
I was able to install the driver's side rear pretty easily and it felt like it compressed a bit easier too. I was able to screw on the top nut first then compress it so that it fit the bottom nut section.
The passenger side rear, i twisted it a bit and I felt like there was more resistance when i tried to compress it to fit.
Are you supposed to "twist" the rear shocks in order for them to start expanding also? I apologize if my wording is not accurate. Any suggestions?
