I'm using NGK 2188 glowplugs in my HJ60. I have a question though. The new plugs have a nut and then 1 black washer and then a copper washer. Does the copper washer go under the glow plug bar connector or above it or does it not matter. I realize this is pretty basic but I would like to put them in right the first time. Is it okay to spray the glow plug threads with wd 40 the old ones came out with a bit of resistance. Thanks.

It dosen't matter where the copper washer goes, as long as there is good contact with the circut. The resistance you got when removing the old plugs is just the carbon build up on the plug element. :) Nothing to worry about.;) You will find the new plugs will screw in easily.
