@POTATO LAUNCHER is in Amarillo. He works on cruisers if ya need someone trust worthy.

That’s good to know. I’m planning on doing some preventative maintenance.
I was really close to buying this reg, and regretting that I didn't

One thing that I noticed is that it needs a front knuckle rebuild ;)

Please start a build page so we can all follow along !

I’m glad you didn’t. I’ll buy you a consolation beer if we ever meet.

That’s good to know about the front knuckle. I’m not any sort of mechanic, but I hope to learn and do some on my own. I’ll start a build page today. Need to get some pictures taken for my registration post too.

Is the front knuckle the reason the steering wheel is crooked when driving straight?

No, If it drives down the road straight without pulling then you can adjust the drag link or pull the steering wheel and center it. If it's pulling it could need a alignment.

How can you tell if the knuckle needs a rebuild?

In the pictures Mike sent me I could see gear oil dripping down off the lower knuckle bolts.
It should be dry down there.

Look inside the front tires at the axle there leaking on both side.

Very common on older Land Cruises
