SeldomSeen got a much needed face lift this week.
Sorry I didn't get many "in process" pics.

I beveled and capped the ends, then used the scrap pieces to build a couple of light mounting tabs (yeah, I know WAY overkill).

Anyhow, I have a few pics of 'The Process' and a final pic.

Hi All:

At first I thought this thread was about a FJ55 wagon! ;)

The new front bumper looks great James! Not unlike the front bumper a friend & I fabbed-up for my FJ40 a few years ago.

Have a great time at Cruise Moab!

Regards,

Alan

Nice sturdy job! Plan to put a winch on it? I presume that's what the back side brackets are for.

I will put a winch on it eventually.
The back side brackets are for my lights...
I had just a couple of tabs on my old bumper, and the lights would bounce around ALOT.

Yeah, the bumper is built like a brick $hithouse.
:grinpimp:

Here is the final product,
SeldomSeen all dressed up with nowhere to go.

Yep, in the LandCruiser world the nickname "Pig" refers to the FJ55 exclusively.

So would the shorter wheelbase FJ40 be a Piglet?
