The Cruiser wanted a full sized tree this year as last years was a little live one in a pot (which I still havent planted yet )
So in "A Christmas Story" fashion I put up "the" clock next to the front door .

why would she not want to have it hanging from the tree? looks plenty classy -and colorful- to me...
maybe use red and green neon instead?



oh, and most of the big trees (certainly all the conifers) in my yard are ex-christmas trees... Live trees all the way!

We went fake as The real ones are a PITA with 4 cats in the house and the wife found it a Lowes and damn it looks real till you touch it . She also found some pine stink stick things and when we got home a little while ago its smells real too in the house unlike that s*** her parents used to get when she was little in the red and green spray can that more or less stunk that lysol
"Betty" was bought a few years ago as a clearance item as it was a display from the US company that makes the good indoor/outdoor clocks . Shes a one of a kind
Best part is , Its the Cruiser clock . She wants to hang it up at work so her strait tight assed boss would loose his mind and have kittens
That and take in her BP coffee mug in that "undresses" when warm
